About Us

It all started with a porch and a few planter boxes—
herbs on the kitchen counter, a small backyard garden, and a dream.

In 2022, we fell in love with this land and saw its potential to grow something beautiful for our community.

Four years later, we’re still growing— our farm, our roots, and ourselves.

Hi! We’re Phil & Madeline,
The farmers behind Collie Acres.

In 2022, we fell in love with the beauty of this land. It was the most unsuspecting farm, in the most challenging climate we’ve ever grown in, with no functioning food systems in place. Despite what had been left behind and forgotten, we saw potential.

Rebuilding this farm over the past four years has challenged everything we thought we knew about growing food. We’ve failed more times than we can count, faced plenty of doubt and uncertainty, but every setback and turning point has helped us grow, learn, and deepen our passion for why this work matters.

We believe it’s important to know where your food is coming from and how it is cared for as it’s grown.

  • We plan for our farm season to be May through October, with our first seeds starting in February.

To help us achieve as full of a growing season as possible, we primarily utilize a commercial size greenhouse. This helps us extend our season and gives us the capability to grow a wide variety of veggies locally in La Pine, OR.

  • We use 100% all natural growing practices. We do not use any gmos or synthetic chemicals.

  • We currently only offer a weekly CSA Program. Interested in signing up for our Harvest Bags? Submit your information to learn more - Let’s Connect!

Stay tuned for other ways we are hoping to get involved in the La Pine community!
